You are invited to attend a conference call on 1st December at 04:30pm GMT/ 05:30pm CET (Paris time)/ 04:30pm BST (London time) during which these results will be commented

Dear All, 

We have decided to postpone the conference call to the 1st December to avoid any potential timing clash with banking conferences being held on 30thNovember, so that the maximum of investors are available for the call.
Please note that time has been changed to 5:30pm (Paris time) / 4:30pm (UK time). 
Connection instructions are unchanged. 
The Third Quarter 2011 Financial Statements will be published on November 29th, 2011 as announced.

Our New Logo

Labco has launched its new logo that consolidates the belonging feeling to this dynamic group. Labco has a new image quite fresh and distinctive but keeps the same strong ideals. As per usual, the blue tones have been chosen to represent the Labco’s image.

From the 18th to the 20th of september, Labco organized the congress PreMed in Lisbon.This scientific congress is designed for those who want to know more about the contribution of laboratory medecine to primary prevention and predictive medecine. The meeting  brought  together european specialists such as laboratories staff members, physicians, in vitro diagnostic industry representatives, pharmaceutical industry representatives and laboratory consultants. 
 




Labco 5th anniversary

All the Labco network's members are celebrating the 5th anniversary of Labco. Indeed, on the 24th of June 2004, a group of biologists and managers decided to take the chance and create what was to become the first pan-European diagnostics network.




Development in Germany

AescuLabor, a lab based in Karlsruhe (Germany), is being integrated within the Labco network, after six regional laboratories already acquired in 2008.

A new website for PreMed 2009

The PreMed 2009 website (www.premed2009.eu) has been launched. It displays all the information regarding the organisation of this event by Labco next September in Lisbon. Soon will be added an online registration module.


New integrations in France

We have recently intergated four new subsidiaries, bringing into the network 9 new laboratories located in the North, the North-West and the South-East of France.


The JIB event gathers all European players

As every year took place in Paris the JIB’s (journées internationales de biologie / clinical chemistru international congress). And as usual, Labco was present during this event to meet the main players of the laboratory medicine sector, in France and throughout Europe.




New recruitments in Labco

To support the network’s growth, Labco is hiring more and more, adding to our staff new skills and expertise. Especially, we are welcoming now Michel Govaerts, joining Labco as COO (chief operating officer). New recruitments will take place during end 2008 and 2009 to strengthen our teams.


Reform of clinical chemistry in France

The reform of the sector was planned long ago, as the main regulatory frame dates from 1975. But as the different actors of the profession and players of the market are divided on some aspects of this reform, it might take some time to succeed. Labco Partners met in Barcelona

Labco organized this year’s Partners Meeting in Barcelona, and the event was hosted by our local partners of General Lab. This event, designed to enable all the Labco partners to meet, gathered almost 200 participants.

Beside the development of the network, ensuring external growth, Labco enhances its integration activities, bringing organic growth. And this integration process is particularly strategic in Iberia, where General Lab and Sampletest are complementarily positioned.
 


Labco announces acquisitions in three countries, accelerating its European expansion

Labco announces that it has made a series of acquisitions in Europe cementing its position as the clear leader in the European diagnostics market. These acquisitions follow the company’s successful €728 million financing announced last week. Laboratories integrating Labco are located in Germay, Italy, and especially Portugal, with Sampletest joining the network, an Iberian leader of the market.

Labco secures €728 million in funding to accelerate European expansion

Labco announces that it has secured a total of €258 million in equity, €300 million in senior debt with a possible extension of €50 million and €120 million in mezzanine financing to fund its growth. The equity investments will allow Labco to strengthen its position in the growing European medical diagnostics market and to offer a wider range of services to patients. Since its creation in 2004, Labco has become the market leader in France, Spain and Portugal and is reinforcing its presence in Germany, Italy and Benelux.


Labco celebrates 4th year anniversary

Four years ago, the Labco network was born of the union of a few healthcare professionals in France. Of course, the creation of the network and its growth strategy were planned previously. But that day truly marked the birth of a project that now succeeded in whole Europe, thanks to a few ones’ belief and commitment.


Success of Labco’s first medical congress: PreMed
June 9 2008
This month took place in Milan the first congress focusing on “the role of laboratory medicine in preventive and predictive medicine”, organized by Labco and with the help of our local partner, CAM (Centro Analisi Monza). The congress gathered up to 150 participants during two days.
