Labco has a unique model for its growth and operations: Labco incorporates existing leading local and regional clinical laboratories in the group and allows their laboratory doctors to become partners of Labco. This partnership philosophy is evident at both the ownership level (more than 50% of Labco’s capital is owned by the local laboratory managers) and at the management level of individual laboratories (these remain independently run by their medical and support staff).

Moreover, this model allows Labco to achieve large economies of scale while maintaining the motivation and commitment of its local medical professionals. The size and scope of the network implantation allows Labco to uncover economies of scale, while developing synergies between partners within the group and in the framework of our external partnerships.

Labco’s laboratories play an active role in helping the Health Authorities of our various national markets to perform their public health role: our laboratory doctors are aiming at delivering to their patients a quality and proximity service, in partnership with all medical professional. They are as well actively involved in many local, national and international epidemiological and medical research programs.
